Our Festival del Gusto in Le Marche this September will be a gathering of organic and biodynamic food, wine and olive oil producers from the Le Marche region of eastern Italy as well as artisan producers and visitors from other parts of Italy, the UK, Holland and the USA.
The Festival will be a chance for small artisan producers to meet, discuss ideas and network as well as trying the products from eight invited producers who will have their wine, olive oil, pasta, honey, cheeses and salumi to taste and sell.
There will also be a chance to take part in workshops, classes and tastings throughout the afternoon before enjoying an evening meal prepared from the produce brought on the day by the producers.
Festival del Gusto will be held just outside the Adriatic coastal resort of Senigallia in the centre of the Italian region of Le Marche and we are very happy to be able to hold it at the lovely country house, the Locanda Strada della Marina.
Il nostro Festival del Gusto a Settembre sarà un raduno di produttori biologici e biodinamici di olio, cibo e vino, tutti dalla regione Marche, ma anche di produttori interessati provenienti da altre parti d'Italia nonché visitatori dal Regno Unito, Olanda e Stati Uniti.
Il Festival sarà un'occasione per piccoli produttori di incontrarsi, discutere idee e scambiarsi opinioni, ma anche per assaggiare e vendere i prodotti da otto differenti aziende tra vino, olio, pasta, miele, formaggi e salumi.
Ci sarà anche la possibilità di prendere parte a classi e degustazioni guidate durante il pomeriggio prima della cena serale a base dei prodotti portati dai produttori produttori all'evento.
Il Festival del Gusto si terrà poco fuori la città di Senigallia, nel centro della regione Marche, e siamo molto lieti di poter avere una location perfetta come la country house Locanda Strada della Marina.
The Festival del Gusto this September is planned to be the first of many similar events to be held both in Le Marche, other regions of Italy and also the Island of Malta in 2014, it will be primarily a celebration of excellent organic and biodynamic produce sourced only from small independent artisan producers in these areas.
At the moment we have several UK based food and wine buyers who will be coming to Italy for the event, members of the Slow Food organisation and UK Biodynamic Association, as well as a small group from the USA who are interested in attending this exciting event.
Our good friend Anna Mosesson the chef and restaurateur will be co hosting the Festival, Anna was one the co founders of the "new" Borough Market in central London, and which is now the most famous and popular market in the UK.
Organisations with involvement with organic and Biodynamic food production have been invited, together with organic olive oil and wine producers from Tuscany and Umbria who will also be attending the Festival as we are currently planning similar events with them in their regions in 2014.
Il Festival del Gusto questo Settembre sarà il primo di una serie di eventi che si terranno in altre parti delle Marche, nel centro Italia ed a Malta nel corso del prossimo anno e che saranno un occasione per celebrare l'eccellenza nel cibo biologico e biodinamico esclusivamente ricercato tra piccoli produttori artigiani locali.
Al momento ci sono diversi compratori da compagnie Inglesi del settore enogastronomico che parteciperanno all'evento, membri di Slow Food e dell'Associazione Biodinamica Inglese, ed un piccolo gruppo di amanti del settore dall'America, per un evento che sarà unico nel suo genere.
La nostra cara amica Anna Mosesson, chef e ristoratrice di nota fama, sarà co-conduttrice dell'evento. Anna è stata una delle fondatrici del nuovo Borough Market nel centro di Londra, che è ora il più famoso e popolare mercato del Regno Unito.
Saranno inoltre inviate organizzazioni coinvolte nella produzione e promozione di alimenti biologici e biodinamici, insieme con produttori dalla Toscana e dall'Umbria, dove stiamo già progettando eventi simili durante il 2014.
