We at Festivaldelgusto were very pleased with our first festival in Le Marche last month and we do hope to hold another in that particular region of Italy at the same time next year. We will now be looking to attract a much larger audience for our chosen producers and suppliers and it is hoped that all the producers who took part in our popular Festival this year will also be available to take part in 2014.
Our friends and contacts in Le Marche helped make our first Italian festival a great success and we hope that all who took part found the event a very useful business opportunity, we also know that several of the producers have gained orders from some of the trade buyers who were present.
We are now looking at opportunities to hold similar Festivals in other regions of central and southern Italy and have been approached by several business contacts both in Umbria, Tuscany and more recently Puglia. The beautiful Italian region of Puglia is one of the most attractive and interesting regions in Italy and we are currently discussing possible venues and dates with our contacts in that region for our first Puglian based Festival in the summer of 2014.
Noi di Festivaldelgusto siamo stati molto contenti del risultato del nostro festival nelle Marche lo scorso mese e speriamo davvero di poterne tenere uno più ampio il prossimo anno nello stesso periodo dell'anno. Ci stiamo ora concentrando sulla promozione ad un pubblico molto più vasto a cui far incontrare i nostri produttori e speriamo che tutti i produttori che hanno partecipato quest'anno saranno disponibili anche per l'anno prossimo.
I nostri amici e contatti nelle Marche ci hanno aiutato a rendere il nostro primo festival a grande successo e speriamo che tutti coloro che vi hanno partecipato abbiano trovato nell'evento un'utile opportunità di business e sappiamo per certo che alcuni di loro hanno ricevuto ordini da alcuni degli esportatori presenti.
Stiamo ora vagliando la possibilità di organizzare altri festival simili in diverse regioni d'Italia, in particolare centro e sud, e siamo stati contattati da diversi agenti interessati in Umbria, Toscana e recentemente Puglia.
La regione Puglia e sicuramente una delle più belle d'Italia e stiamo al momento vagliando possibili locations e date con i nostri contatti sul luogo per quello che sarà il primo Festivaldelgusto pugliese la prossima estate.
Festivaldelgusto is also very pleased to be holding an event in the beautiful village of Wendling in Norfolk in June 2014 in conjunction with Slow Food Norwich and Sagraitalia. The festival will be held at the Fire Pit venue in Wendling village, just outside the city of Norwich and will be based on the Italian Sagre food events which are held all over Italy each year.
The owners of the Fire Pit are very proactive in organising popular events at their venue and also work closely with the local community to promote both the village and local small artisan food businesses.
Several local sponsors and supporters have already come forward to offer to supply produce for the event and help and we are hoping to attract several hundred guests to this unique Italian themed food event in central Norfolk.
Festivaldelgusto è anche lieto di annunciare un festival nella bella cittadina di Wendling nel Norfolk a giugno 204 in collaborazione con Slow Food Norwich e Sagraitalia. Il festival si terrà al Fire Pit a Wendling, appena fuori il paese e richiamerà lo spirito e stile delle sagre di paese che si tengono in tutta Italia ogni anno.
I proprietari del Fire Pit sono molto attivi e rinomati nell'organizzazione di eventi e lavorano a stretto contatto con la comunità locale per promuovere sia il paese che i piccoli produttori della zona.
Molti sponsor locali hanno già mostrato interesse e si sono proposti per offrire il loro aiuto e prodotti durante quello che sarà il primo evento enogastronomico a tema italiano nel Norfolk centrale.

Another exciting project we are currently planning for next year is an organic olive oil Festival on the Island of Malta in May, we also hope to be working closely with the Mediterranean organic certification organisation the IMC which is based in Italy but certifies organic food and wine both in Italy and also in Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon and Egypt. This organisation is the statutory body used by these participating countries to certify all the olive oils, wines and other food products and it is a rare opportunity for the team at Festivaldelgusto to work with this dedicated group of professionals.
We already have a venue in place in Malta where the Festival is going to be held and our Maltese friends and contacts are now busy with setting up some of the initial planning for this first organic olive oil fair on the Island. If the Festival proves popular we then aim to hold a similar event on this beautiful Mediterranean Island each year in May.
Un latro interessante progetto che stiamo attualmente programmando per il prossimo anno è una fiera di olio organico nell'isola di Malta a Maggio, per la realizzazione della quale speriamo di lavorare in collaborazione con l'Associazione Mediterranea di Certificazione, IMC, con sede in Italia ma che si occupa della certificazione biologica di prodotti anche in Turchia, Marocco, Tunisia, Libano ed Egitto. Questa organizzazione è l'unica riconosciuta in questi paesi per la certificazione biologica dei prodotti e per noi di Festivaldelgusto è un privilegio avere l'occasione di lavorare con questo esclusivo gruppo di professionisti.
Abbiamo già una location per il festival a Malta ed i nostri contatti ed amici sul luogo sono ora impegnati nella messa appunto delle fasi progettuali iniziali per questa prima fiera dell'olio d'oliva biologico sull'Isola. Se il festival risulterà popolare si penserà a rendere l'evento un appuntamento permanente del calendario isolano.
