Festivaldelgusto events in the UK

The plans for the second Festivaldelgusto that is being held in Senigallia, Italy this September and also the planned Festival in Malta in co operation with Malta Sunripe are well advanced and we are pleased that as well as these two exciting events we are now working closely with Olivaverde and Slow Food in England to hold several small promotional events in London and the south east of England this summer and autumn.
The UK based events will take place at venues mainly located in London but we hope to also hold one promotional event at the famous and iconic Forum building in the city of Norwich in East Anglia.
We recently visited the exciting new venue, Maida Hill Place  in west London and we will now be holding two tasting and promotional events at this great new arts and food centre on 21st August, one to be held on a lunchtime and another slightly larger event in the early evening later that same month.
Maida Hill Place was originally a derelict and unused building and was completely renovated and converted into a beautiful arts and food centre by the current owners in 2013 as part of the regeneration of this part of west London.

The event at the HUB Westminster has been confirmed to take place on the 7th August and we are looking forward to welcoming up to forty guests to this evening event to take part in a joint Slow Food England and Festivaldelgusto workshop.
Later this year on September 6th we will be taking part with Olivaverde at the Norfolk Food Festival which takes place in Norfolk during the month of September at many different and diverse venues including markets, restaurants and farms throughout the county. Again we will be working closely with the Slow Food organisation and are also pleased to be involved with Raffles restaurants to hold a food event at the Library restaurant in the centre of Norwich.
Then possibly in November we are planning a similar olive oil tasting event and workshop in Norwich, this to be held at the iconic Forum building in the centre of this beautiful and historic city. This will be the fourth of these events that we have held in this city and the first at this outstanding venue

The Forum in Norwich was built as part of the series of millennium projects in the UK and was opened in Novemebr 20011, since then it has come to play a very important part in the life of this ancient city. The building is open seven days a week and as well as hosting many shows, markets and exhibitions throughout the year it is also the home of BBC Radio Norfolk and a large public library. There is also a large auditorium which can seat up to 120 and this has the latest digital gallery with large screen and interactive technology and is used for workshops, lectures, presentations and performances.
We plan to hold a joint workshop and talks at the Forum, these will focus on all aspects of olive cultivation and fine olive oil production together with a tasting of up to six oils from central Italy, including four from Le Marche.

Malta Food Event in December

Festivaldelgusto are very pleased to be working on an exciting new event in Malta this December held together with MCA , the Mediterranean Culinary Academy and several Slow Food groups from Italy and other Mediterranean countries. We have been planning to hold an organic and sustainable food event in Valletta the capital of Malta since the Slow Food Mediterranean conference in Valletta last October. The event will mainly be aimed toward promoting small artisan producers from around the Mediterranean region as well as representatives from many of the countries taking part. During the day there will be a series of workshops, talks and pop up street food stands as well as a dedicated kitchen where chefs can prepare dishes which are typical of their home countries. It is hoped that the event can be held outside in the streets close to the beautiful Hastings Gardens, but if this is not possible because of the weather in December then it will be relocated to an indoor venue in another part
