The Festivaldelgusto later this month will be held again at the beautiful Castello di Monterado in the Le Marche region of Italy. We are very pleased to be holding this prestigious event again in this beautiful castle in the village of Monterado in the Le Marche region of eastern Italy and there are plans to hold other similar events there in the future.
This year the Festivaldelgusto will be held on Sunday 27th September and there will be many new Marchigiani producers present this year in addition to many of the artisan food and drink producers who were present at the event last year. The Festival in 2014 attracted many of the best local food and wine producers from the northern and central provinces of the Marche region, and we are pleased that this year we will also have several producers from the south of Marche.
New producers this year will include Oleificio Silvestri Rosina an organic olive oil producers from Spinetoli in the south of the Marche region and a local co operative La Buona usanza and the Cicerchia di Serra di Conti and Lonzino di fico who were also present at a Slow Food festival in the east of England on September 5th and 6th.
As with the previous Festivalgusto events we will have visitors not just from Italy but also from other parts of the world including the UK, USA, Holland, Canada and Australia, and many will be looking for products which they can promote and market in their own countries.
Il Festivaldelgusto si terrà anche quet'anno nel Castello di Monterado nella regione d'Italia delle Marche. Siamo molto lieti di essere ancora una volta ospiti di questa prestigiosa location dove stiamo attualmente pianificando anche altri eventi nel corso del prossimo futuro.
Quest'anno il Festivaldelgusto si terrà Domenica 27 Settembre e vedrà presenti molti nuovi produttori in aggiunta alle molte oramai affezionate presenze. Il Festival dello scorso anno ha attirato il meglio della produzione locale enogastronomica soprattutto del centro-nord e siamo lieti di avere quest'anno anche una nutrita presenza dal sud della regione.
Tra i nuovi produttori presetni quest'anno avremo l'Oleificio Silvestri Rosina, produttore biologico di olio vicino Spinetoli, nel sud delle Marche, la cooperativa La Buona Usanza con i presidi Slow Food della Cicerchia di Serra dei Conti e il Lonzino di Fico, che è stata presente anche al festival Slow Food in Inghilterra in data 5 e 6 Settembre.
Come nello spirito dei precedenti Festivaldelgusto, ache quest'anno avremo un pubblico internazionale che includerà visitatori da UK, USA, Olanda, Canada e Australia, molti dei quali alla ricerca di nuovi prodotti da promuovere nei loro paesi.
This year is the first time that we will have representatives from Slow Food Marche including members from the local Slow Food Ancona and Conero convivium as well as members from the regional Slow Food Marche.
There will also be members of Slow Food Anglia coming from the UK to the festival and they will have a stand which will be showcasing produce and producers from the east of England, many of the Anglia members also recently met with Slow Food Marche members at the festival in Colchester in the east of England last weekend. Another Slow Food food and drink festival is already being planned in Colchester for next September along with a similar festival being held in the historic city of Norwich which is also located in the east of England, both these festivals will have a strong input from the Festivaldelgusto team.
The Festivaldelgusto in Monterado will also allow members of the various Italian and UK Slow Food groups to meet and discuss at length plans for several high profile events and projects that they wish to hold and start work on in 2016 both in Italy and in the UK. These projects and food festivals promoting the Slow Food ethos are widely supported by members of all the Slow Food groups that are involved and also have the support of Slow Food International.

Il Festivaldelgusto parteciperà alla realizzazione di entrambi questi festivals in accordo con le attività di promozione e scambio intraprese tra Slow Food Marche e Anglia.

This Festivaldelgusto will also allow the Festival team and members of Slow Food Anglia to explain their plans for a joint Festivaldelgusto and Slow Food festival in central London next summer, this will be sponsored by several well known food businesses in the UK and Olivaverde which has supported us over the past three years.
This will be the first festival of its kind to be held in London, but it will not be restricted to only Slow Food members but there will also be many of the stands available to small artisan producers who are not connected with the Slow Food organisation.
The festival in London will be held at one of the high profile venues in east London which are very popular with the public and also visitors to the city, we plan to have at least 50 artisan food and drink stands attracting several thousand visitors over the two days that it will be held. We know the London food and drink scene extremely well and one of the event organisations we work with on our events has a long track record of successful events in London and the east of England.
All the producers that attend the Festivaldelgusto in Monterado this September will automatically be invited to take part in the London, Colchester and Norwich festivals and events, our aim as always to promote and showcase excellent artisan produce made by dedicated small food and drink producers and farmers.
