Our aim at Festivaldelgusto is to assist clients and friends who wish to hold artisan food festivals and fairs both in Italy, Malta and also in the UK, and we are now pleased to be planning with two of our friends to hold two events in Norfolk in the spring and summer of 2014.
We are also in the early stages of planning several festival events in Italy next year, one will be held in Le Marche and possibly two others in the Italian regions of Puglia and also Sicily, these will be in addition to our planned event in Malta next May.
At one of our UK events we will be helping the owners of a popular restaurant with a large market and food fair near the Norfolk town of Swaffham, this will be held on Saturday 19th April over the Easter holiday period.
The event will be on land near the main restaurant building which is located near the main road from Thetford and London to the North Norfolk coast which is a popular route with many travelling from London for holidays in Norfolk. Also many serviceman and their families from the local US air bases of Lakenheath and Mildenhall will be invited as well as mambers of the RAF from the nearby base of Marham.
We plan to make this exciting and unique market in Mundford one of the premier markets and food fairs in Norfolk and will be inviting Italian producers to come to the UK to join local Norfolk food and drink producers at this prestigious event next spring.
L'obbiettivo di Festivaldelgusto è quello di assistere i nostri clienti ed amici che desiderano organizzare festival e fiere enogastronomiche e siamo lieti di stare ora aiutando alcuni amici per la realizzazione di due eventi nel Norfolkk, Inghilterra, per a prossima primavera ed estate 2014.
Siamo anche alle prime fasi della realizzazione di altri eventi nel Mediterraneo tra Malta e l'Italia il prossimo anno, di cui uno nelle Marche e speriamo anche in Sicilia e Puglia in aggiunta al già programmato evento che avremo a Malta il prossimo Maggio.
Il primo dei due eventi nel Norfolk si terrà in collaborazione con un noto ristorante della zona nella cittadina di Swaffham il giorno Sabato 19 Aprile durante il periodo pasquale.
L'evento si terrà all'aperto in prossimità del ristornate in prossimità della statale che collega Thetford e Londra nel nord Norfolk, zona conosciuta e frequentata nei periodi vacanzieri. Molti membri della base locale USA di Lakenheath e Mildenhall saranno invitati con le loro famiglie così come membri della RAF dalla base di Marham.
Ci aspettiamo di far diventare questo primo evento - mercatino a Munford il primo di una serie di appuntamenti annui nel calendario enogastronomico locale ed oltre alla comunità locale di produttori verranno inviati a partecipare anche alcuni produttori Italiani in un clima di scambio e confronto.
Other events in 2014 will include a Sagra on June 14th near the famous market town of Dereham, this will be held at the Fire Pit an festival and event venue in the village of Wendling in Norfolk. This festival will include organic food and drink provided by local Norfolk producers and food businesses, a hog roast, music and entertainers as well as several artisan Italian producers coming from Italy specially to provide workshops and tastings of olive oils, wines and other fine Italian foods.
It is hoped that over two hundred members of the public will attend this first Sagra in Wendling and we are sure that it will become a well known and popular annual event in this part of Norfolk.
The Wendling Sagra will be sponsored by several local small food businesses and members of Slow Food Norwich will also be taking part and will have a stand to promote the Slow Food movement and specifically the new Slow Food East Anglia which will make up part of the newly launched Slow Food England.
Altri eventi che terremo il prossimo anni includono una Sagra il 14 giugno vicino la città di Dereham e la location sarà il Fire Pit, una location ben conosciuta per matrimoni ed eventi nel vicino villaggio di Wendling nel Norfolk. Questo festival includerà cibo e bevande locali di produzione biologica, musica ed intrattenimento tra cui un grande falò con preparazione di maiale arrosto, e la partecipazione di produttori Italiani che verranno espressamente per tenere degustazioni guidate di olio, fino ed altri prodotti.
E' prevista la partecipazione di otre duecento persone e siamo sicuri che l'evento non solo sarà un successo ma diverrà un appuntamento fisso della comunità a Wendling e di questa parte del Norfolk.
La saga sarà sponsorizzata da molti business appartenenti al circuito enogastronomico locale e anche da Slow Food Norwich con uno stand apposito per la promozione e diffusione del movimento ed in particolare del nuovo Slow Food Anglia come parte del recentemente nato Slow Food England.

Other events that Festivaldelgusto will be planning along with our partners at Sagraitalia and Olivaverde in the UK in the first half of 2014 will include a food fair at a well known hospital in Berkshire located near the world famous town of Windsor, this will be a celebration of local Berkshire and Buckinghamshire food producers and will include local cheeses, breads, honey and meats.
The venue has been reserved, several producers have already confirmed and more details of the event will be available in late January 2014 and we believe that this will be one of the highlights of our event calendar next year.
We will update this blog as the details of other exciting events unfold and we are looking forward to working with our many friends and partners in the coming year in both the UK and abroad.
Altri eventi che Festivaldelgusto sta pianificando saranno in collaborazione con i nostri partners Sagraitalia ed Olivaverde neglu UK durante la prima metà del 2014 che includono una fiera in un ben conosciuto ospedale nel Berkshire vicino la famosa città di Windsor come parte delle celebrazioni locali per i produttori del Berkshire e Buckinghamshire tra cui formaggi, pane, miele e carni.
La location è già stata riservata, diversi produttori hanno già confermato la loro presenza e notizie più precise saranno disponibili a fine Gennaio 2014 per quello che crediamo sarà sicuramente uno degli eventi di punta del nostro calendario.
